Stables Initiative Events
Alberta Stables were well recieved at its first trip to Westerner Days, Fair & Exhibition at Westerner Park, Red Deer, AB July 21st-25th. The Alberta Stables banner was hung high and proudly above the main indoor show ring for all five days of the event. Thank you to all our volunteers in Red Deer and Westerner Park for their hospitality.
Alberta Stables were up to the challenging weather and crouds at the 'National' tournament at Spruce Meadows. Sunday posted record attendance for the tournament, which was definitly helped by the sunny weather. The Equine Education and Welfare station, that Alberta Stables promoted, was visited by many and the feedback was that it was fantastic! Thank you to Spruce Meadows and all our volunteers for helping keep things fun and safe and of course for our mares & foals for being such patient and gracious teachers!
