The Alberta Animal Keepers Act is the provincial legislation pertaining mostly to Alberta Stables.

An “animal keeper” means a person who receives payment for boarding, feeding or caring for an animal that is owned by another person.

The first step in exercising an action, in regards to this act, is to contact the Provincial Minister of Agriculture through:
